Madison - If primaries are held, voters would go to the polls on June 5 for recall elections involving Gov. Scott Walker, the lieutenant governor and four Republican state senators, under an agreement signed by a judge on Wednesday.
The agreement also calls for primaries - or a general election in the event there are no primaries - to take place on May 8.
As part of a stipulation entered in court, attorneys for the recall committees, their recall targets and the Government Accountability Board all agreed the state elections agency should receive an extension to certify petitions until March 30.
The board's current deadline to certify petitions is Monday.
The GAB has already declared that the four senators will face recall elections, but has not yet ruled on the recall efforts against Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.
Dane County Circuit Judge Richard Niess said there was "ample, good cause" to grant the extension. "It's clearly in the public interest," he said.
Niess signed a stipulation setting the recall dates that parties involved in the recall process had agreed to.
The extension avoids holding primary elections on May 1 and a general election on May 29 - one day after Memorial Day. "The big win here for the taxpayers of the state of Wisconsin is that all of the elections are going to occur at the same time," attorney Joseph L. Olson, who represents the senators facing recalls, said after the hearing.
Attorney Jeremy P. Levinson, who represents the recall committees, agreed and said he was pleased with the decision. "This was as soon as was reasonably possible," Levinson said.

They tried recalling ‘Rat Senators last summer, and ‘Rats voted to retain the ‘Rats. Too many of the ‘Rats reside in safe ‘Rat districts.

Well the plus here would be that the colleges in WI will be out of school by then so we can expect a lower than expected student turnout.

Look for a flood of buses full of Chicago union thugs arriving in WI from across the IL border in the very early morning on those dates. Kenosha and Racine Counties will amaze the country with astonishingly high turnout rates exceeding 140% of registered voters.
We should create one state and name it Helltopia for all the lieberals, Unionists, gay-marriage lovers, radical atheists and all such leftist dreck who choose it. Then they all can live happily everafter in their own mess and leave the rest of us alone. Heaven is the absence of such IMHO.

As “ridiculous” as it may appear, it may become “the new norm” in disruptive politics, of which the left -loves- to practice upon society.
As they slowly run out of techniques and tactics to impose their will upon us, the ‘rats have found a new, completely legal and legitimate method of tossing a wrench into the elective process.
That is, “recall them all”.
Can’t muster enough votes in the regular, general election to install your candidate? Fine, just utilize your state’s recall laws to force the winner into -another- election, designed to weaken his resolve, dishearten his morale, and deplete his financial resources.
My state doesn’t have recall, but I gather that most midwestern/western/mountain states do. And I also gather that in most states that have recall, the laws are written so that it’s not that difficult for a small group of individuals to initiate the recall process, to get the ball moving.
Even in conservative electoral districts, there are probably enough liberals extant so that a recall campaign could amass the requisite number of signatures to comply with state laws and get a recall going.
And once the signatures have been collected, and the paperwork filed (again, I’ll guess that most recall laws make it relatively -easy- to do this), the recall takes on a life of its own, and can’t be “settled” without the election.
Thus, small groups of disruptors, without huge funding “behind” them (or perhaps -with- a source of “silent funding”) could use recalls to disrupt normal government and thwart conservative agendas.
I would expect to see more of this in the future. Particularly if Scott Walker gets replaced...
It’s also yet another way to spend tons of taxpayer money. Plus, it’s great business for the careerists in campaign management and fundraising.
We tried to recall 4 of the rats but the voters in those liberal districts said no. You want to waste more money and time on a useless effort?
The Primaries would be for Governor and for Senator if more than two candidates from one Party file for those offices. A Primary for Governor is already slated unless one of the Kathleens drops out.
