At $50k a pop though, they aren’t cheap. Especially when a kassam rocket can be made for a few hundred bucks. Better than the alternative (i.e. no shield) but crazy expensive.

Its worth it. It has given many people in southern Israel to get under cover. If they had a Firefinder radar system they would be able to trace the area where the rocket will be.There is something called economies of scale.Economies of scale are factors that cause the average cost of producing something to fall as the volume of its output increases. So if Israel produces more rockets, the cost of the rocket over time decreases.If I am wrong about this concept please correct me.
