Breibart, Leo, Butterzillion, Starwise, Fred Nerks, and so, so many others here have to get the news somewhere, and if it comes from the Mediots, it needs lots of filtering.

With WND, all that is needed is to disregard the exhuberence occasionally.

Time here for a little logical razoring.

There is either:
(a)No Birth Certificate, as was reported by Governor Abercrombie
or (b) Documentation does exist, but it contains information detrimental to Obama.

Hawaii was notorious for falsely obtained "Home Birth" Certificates. For many decades, Asians and other foreigners showed up in Hawaii with children ... some fully grown ...for whom they obtained Hawaiian Birth Certificates and thus a claim to American Citizenship, by merely attesting to the birth of that child "at home," and providing witnesses.

Dr. Corsi picked up on that fact and surmised that this was what Grandmother Dunham had done for baby Barack. Of course, all of the evasions of Team Obama and Hawaiian officialdom make this explanation of events seem quite plausible. Dr. Corsi went to Kenya to see if he could find documentation of Obama's birth there, but succeeded only in placing his life in jeopardy. Those are the facts upon which his particular "Birther" case has been built, and they are real.

Bottom line: Obama has not proven he was born in Hawaii to a huge number of eminently reasonable people. However, equally true, those people are unable to disprove it. Huge legal and bureaucratic roadblocks have been placed in their path.

In the meantime, seemingly in response to the Trump challenge caused by skepticism over earlier document releases, the WH presented a digitally created document, actually a copy of an abstract of "data on file at the HIDOH," reproduced on paper stock selected to look like an actual Birth Certificate and purporting to be a "Certified copy of a Birth Certificate on file at the HIDOH," which it most emphatically is not. Unfortunately, the MSM, elected Republican Representatives, and a substantial number of Americans DO accept it as proof of "Birth in Hawaii," and consider the case closed. Then there are the questions of the obviously irregular selective Service Registration, and an SSN that will not activate the Federal ID system.

But these problems, although they are enough to cause any reasonable state AG to take Obama of the ballot, pale in comparison to the "Natural Born Citizen" issue. The failure of the SCOTUS to take the opportunity to resolve this issue brought before it on numerous occasions is inexplicable to me. Three justices have asked, 4 are needed.

With WND, all that is needed is to disregard the exhuberence occasionally.

Despite being a genuine Harvard Man, Dr. Corsi's prose is a direct swipe of the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys School of breathless adolescent staged excitement and goes on for page after circularly reasoned page. Not bad, considering the whole opus is build upon a couple of facts, which although true, could certainly be more succinctly stated.

Of course, for the good Dr., the issue of "Natural Born Citizenship" always seems an afterthought to the "shocking exposés" of the forgeries that are his stock in trade. But the eccentricities of WND are not the culprit. Official America, especially at the state level, has simply failed to fulfill specific state constitutional mandates to establish the eligibility of candidates for national office. The Federal Constitution establishes the rules of eligibility, but did not spell out a mechanism for their enforcement.
