The latest legislative effort in Arizona to confront Obama’s eligibility would require political parties to file an affidavit swearing under penalty of perjury that their presidential and vice presidential candidates are qualified to hold the positions. It also would let any voter in Arizona file a lawsuit challenging an affidavit.
If it were to get the governor’s signature, the requirements of the bill would apply to this year’s presidential contest.

Even if it were Gov. Brewer's position that questioning this President's eligibility is a "bridge too far", does that mean she would veto a generic bill for all AZ candidates because it could apply to Barry as well?
Gee, the reader was misled here, eh!? AP's use of words like "debunked", "controversy", etc. is so loaded with bias that I find the article hard to read.
Innuendo about a lead investigator writing a book is all but supposed to cause us to find him guilty of lying, right?
The AP says Arapio "generated a political firestorm" when it's clearly been the response that has been the firestorm, from Obama and the DOJ. That's obviously misleading the reader.
Ptui, pfui, AP!
