I know their property taxes are not significantly different from the gasoline stations all around this one station. Those other station are about $1 to $1.5 cheaper.

This may be a real price, but it is not an indicative price for gasoline in the area.

Of course there’s always the possibility that the owner of the gas station is putting the price at whatever price he thinks he can get. .....

The prices at this station are normally a buck more than elsewhere anyway. It’s at the Watergate! A bit more than comfortable walking distance, too.

It’s not pump your own. It’s for a very high income neighborhood. The real estate there is out of site.

No crime here, and no real comparison to almost any other station in the DC area.
