Although I am not supporting Romney in the GOP primary process, he showed some guts here to publicly announce that he doesn't want or need Medicare. Perhaps other Americans turning 65 will learn that automatically enrolling in Medicare may not be the only option for them.
Well, shoot, let's all just pat the Extreme Progressive Liberal on the back for his primary shenanigans.
"Showed some guts" my butt!
Romney doesn't have a principled bone in his body, everything he does is for selfish reasons as evidenced by his continual lying about his record and his character assasination on both Gringrich and Santorum.
Romney's record includes the following:
1. Support for Gay Adoption
2. He implemented Gay Marriage in MA, all by himself.
3. Support for Abortion
4. Support for Cap-and-Trade
5. Support for Global Warming
6. Support for Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants
7. Against GWB's Tax Cuts
8. Raised taxes/fees in MA by 300% during his tenure
9. Implemented Socialistic Healthcare called Romney care which included $50 Abortions and an Individual Mandate.
He's never repented of his past positions
He has no courage, he deserves no accolades, just our everlasting scorn.

You are correct, of course, about Romney's record. As I said, I'm not supporting him in the GOP primary process.
But, as they say, even a broken clock in a junkyard is right twice a day.
Plus, contrast what he did upon turning 65 to what a Democrat running for president would probably have done. The Democrat would have held a press conference to show off his spanking new Medicare card!
