IMO...A vote is one’s own, a vote spoken of before cast is an endorsement.
Why discuss it unless the idea is to sway others?

It wasn't the Alabama Gov who started the discussing. Can you guess who? ...It was a CONg Wicky backer and of course it was Rickky:
