On April 15, Tax Day, those of us who believe in free markets and limited government have an enormous opportunity.
This opportunity is the Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party.
American Solutions is proud to be a part of a coalition of grassroots groups that are helping to organize and promote Tea Parties all across the country. In fact, weve confirmed over 500 events in all 50 states and were still growing.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans of all political stripes will be hitting the streets to protest high taxes and fiscal irresponsibility.
To find a Tea Party in your area go to www.AmericanSolutions.com/TeaParty.
Our goal must be to put a stop to the excessive debt, spending, and centralization of power by cynical politicians, and to put forth a clear and decisive alternative.
Weve put together a Toolkit for Tea Parties that you can print out and take with you.
You can download it right here: www.AmericanSolutions.com/TeaParty.
It includes, among other items, our 12 American Solutions for Jobs & Prosperity, which is a clear and decisive alternative to the big government, big bureaucracy, big spending policies of President Obama.
Thank you, and we hope you will join us for a Tea Party.
Your friend, Newt Gingrich General Chairman American Solutions

So anyone got any examples of Mitt Romney’s grass-roots conservative efforts?

Newt taking credit for Rick Santelli idea.
Thnx fer yer post
Seriously ????
LOL, desperate Santobot feels Santomentum slipping away.
Absolutely vicious on some other threads right now.
No Newt..... NO win...
Newt taking credit for Rick Santelli idea.
Ron Paul does all the time!
Santomomentum has been “slipping away” for quite some time now. It was “dropping like a rock” before Michigan, I recall. Oddly, he still managed to beat Gingrich in all but one state on Super Tuesday.
Why take a perfectly good, positive story about Newt Gingrich, and spoiling it with such a pedestrian attack?
Rick Santelli IS considered the father of the Tea Party movement. And the other poster was clearly just parodying the Newt supporters repeated refrain that Rick Santorum steals Gingrich’s ideas.
Are you asking me or mimaw? Mimaw wasn't parodying anything. I checked her posting history before responding and saw a whole lot of dumb Newt bashing. This post fell right in line with it. Her post was a dumb, pointless attack stepping on a positive post, my post was a response to hers honestly pointing out how desperate she must be to concoct such a ridiculous point.
It's clear the Newt bashing has been stepped up tonight by the Santobots due to Rick's descent in the Alabama/Miss. polls. I made no claim his momentum's been slipping away for a long time. That's just a strawman you invented. I will congratulate you for cramming a lot of cheap, baseless, intellectually dishonest attacks into one short post. Pretty efficient smear job you attempted here.
Where does Gingrich take credit for the TEA party idea in his letter?
He doesn’t. It was the topic of the subthread to which I was responding.
I said nothing about Gingrich in this thread, except that this story was a positive story for Gingrich.
You are right, because I used the wrong word (probably because it was pretty late at night here, or at least that’s the excuse I’ll use).
I didn’t mean “parodying”. I meant “parroting”, as in mimicking or using the same argument against him.
And in the light of day, I shouldn’t have jumped on you for responding. You kept your response to just that comment, and I should have respected that rather than jumped on it. I apologize.
Note she calls him
SANTELLI , not Santorum.
BTW Jedi... isnt the 2nd photo dated in early 2000’s ? I know it’s a lot older than most folks think.
Me thinks this is a double burn. hehe
