A new paper to be published in Ethics, Policy & Environment proposes a series of biomedical modifications that could help humans, themselves, consume less.

Yes, it always works. There a number of populations of smaller humans all over the world. How they got that way is a good question, but they exist.

You start turning the Sa'ami dwarves, the San people, Negritos in the Philippines, and several other groups loose and they could DOWNSIZE the greater part of humanity in a generation!

Give a Sa'ami guy a tumble, eh! He'll be a willing worker I am sure.

It depends on which "biomedical modifications" they're planning.

A brief cardiectomy, and the person will consume nothing.
