You both could be correct. Santorum's official campaign, with live volunteers, etc., could be doing positive calls, and then a superpac associated with Santorum, could be doing the negative ugly ones, and probably are.
Santorum has no contact or connection with the superpac, and is not allowed by law to, but he could ask them to stop any inaccurate calls or calls with lies in them, as Newt did when his superpac did some questionable things. Superpacs often do the candidate's dirty work.
I can see why, as a Santorum supporter, who has only made positive calls, you are offended. but the fact remains the other side of the coin is probably true, also. One of Newt's superpacs in Florida ran some ads about the holocaust or something in Florida, and everyone blamed Newt, but he said he honestly didn't know about the ads, and that is very probable; and could be true for Santorum, that he didn't know anything about them, also.
And now, I need to go take some medication, because I just tried to get a fair hearing for a Santorum supporter... yikes!
