This must have been the first time the party endorsed a non Communist party candidate.

really...................Obama has been a member of “the Party” since it’s beginning 1991. He has been a communist since his teen years. His grandparents and Frank Marshal Davis were all CPUSA members. He sought out Marxist professors while in collage. Do you really think he wasn’t a communist?

Thanks for the information. I was aware of communist influences, hence the McCarthy hearings etc. My comment referred to the Comm Party’s endorsement of Obama for the presidency in 2008.

I was not questioning whether I thought Obama was a commie, I was struck by the fact that the big C party endorsed him.

From personal experience, I know that as recent as the early 1990s, the American Communist Party, the Workers Socialist party, the Democrat Socialists etc never endorsed a Democrat for president. They had their own candidate(s) as part of the revolution.

P.S. College is spelled collage.
