I call B.S. on this one.
I would re-phrase as "...they have no interest in sex with anybody who would actually be interested in THEM.”
Much is said about the effect of visual porn on men. Less is said about the effect of movies and "romance novels" on women, setting unrealistic expectations of what kind of lover they "deserve".
