The real story here is that CNN and Soledad O’Brien have taken it upon themselves to become the defenders of Derrick Bell and his racist yammering.
Probably because they realize that Obama is inextricably connected with Bell, so any acceptance of Bell as a militant racist tarnishes Obama.
CNN is becoming more like MSNBC each day, and no longer is even trying to pretend neutrality and objectivity in the news: the panic among the anchors that Obama may lose re-election is palpable, and the more nervous they become the more they screech.
