Read the whole article at the link. Hilarious!

“When it emerged the other day that Amanda Clayton, a 24-year-old Michigan million-dollar-lottery winner, still receives $200 of food stamps every month, even the press and the bureaucrats were obliged to acknowledge the ridiculousness. Yet the same people are determined that Sandra Fluke be treated with respect as a pioneering spokesperson for the rights of the horizontally challenged.”

Wait. Where are the people who were harping about how awful Limbaugh was to call this slut a slut?

I guess young is a relative term since she still cannot legally run for President.

The public deserves to know IF she is actually a lesbian and IF she attended last year’s Georgetown “slut rally” protest.

The answers to these questions would do a lot to deflate the Left’s meme of the past 2 weeks.

The upside for Fluke is that she will enter menopause soon and won’t need any birth control.

O'Reilly is saying Fluke is dating the son of William Mutterperl, a big Democratic contributor. So in spite of her West Hollywood years, Sandra may not be a lesbian. I don't know if this is true.

He's also saying she's a client (pro bono, non-paying) of SKDKnickerbocker, a PR agency whose managing director is former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn.

Interesting thing: in the 1940s there was a William Perl, born Mutterperl, who spied for the Soviet Union.

“As I said, I’m on the other side of the planet, so maybe I’m not getting this. But I’d say the core issue here is not religious liberty — which in these Godless times the careless swing voter now understands as a code phrase meaning that uptight Republicans who can’t get any action want to stop you getting any, too.”

Mark, I’m going to have to agree that maybe you aren’t getting this issue. Ms.Fluke was not discussing sex or conservatives not wanting anyone to have sex! I believe her examples were ovarian cysts, rape, marital sex, endometriosis, and feeling powerless at the drugstore counter. In addition she expects to be treated equally and not have her “academic success impeded” by not having birth control paid for in full.

One story she shared was a gay woman that had ovarian cysts and had to discontinue bc pills because of the expense. She ended up having to have an ovary removed. Now this girl’s mother will perhaps not get the grandchild she longs for. Solution: call around to see which local pharmacies have generic birth control for $5-$15 month. Call Planned Parenthood that will base cost on your income. If only an expensive name brand works in this situation call the manufacturer as they all have programs for these kind of situations. Unfortunately, bc pills don’t always stop the cysts so it’s hard to know if this would have happened anyway.

Then we had a rape victim that didn’t go to the hospital because she figured insurance wouldn’t cover it. Solution: call 911 and tell them what happened. The police would probably know where you could get your exam without insurance coverage. Call a rape crisis hotline as they would be a wealth of information and support.

Regarding the married woman that could no longer afford bc pills so was not using any form of birth control, please see options mentioned for ovarian cysts. Regarding endometriosis, please see options for ovarian cysts cited above. Lastly, for the woman that couldn’t afford the bc pills at the drugstore and had to walk away—ask the pharmacist about similar bc pills that are on their generic program and then call drs. office next day and speak with a nurse. See what options they suggest. Go to Planned Parenthood or other women’s clinics and see what they can offer. There are billions of dollars spent on making programs available for those in bad financial situations.

One big red flag from this testimony—what did the women affected by these situations do to try and resolve them? I think the testimony would have been more credible if they were being turned down for help at clinics or if Target, WalMart and others didn’t have good generic programs for those with and without insurance. This testimony sounded like women are totally helpless to take responsibility for their medical and birth control needs.

I can tell you what Ms.Fluke left out of her testimony—that this plan would include abortion and morning after pills. What wasn’t pointed out is that Sandra Fluke has been advocating for these policy changes since before she landed on campus and that she feels gender change operations should be covered in full also.

One comment she made I agree with is regarding letting someone besides a woman and her doctor make medical decisions concerning their bodies. In this case no one is stopping her from all kinds of places to get low cost birth control pills which other than the rape case was all she mentioned. However,Obamacare is going to take away or allow life by determining who of us older poots are worth saving or who to let die. No doubt I won’t make the live list.

Ms.Fluke also may want to note that Obamacare will not be giving her the $3000 luxury version of birth control—she can look forward to a couple of generic versions. The drug companies won’t be spending milliions of dollars in research plus the high costs of bringing new drugs to the market to bring new birth control pills to the market that might be better for women that have specific issues such as ovarian cysts or endometriosis or fewer side effects for those women that cannot tolerate the generic ones.

Finally, I hate to admit there are people in America that fell for this circus. I thanked Lifelock for not discontinuing advertising on Rush’s show. I got told I must not have girls, I didn’t know that this wasn’t about birth control but ovarian cysts, Rush listeners don’t read, and I think sex is nasty.

One last thing—I love you Mark Steyn!!!
