The talk of CA being in GOP play (and not a shoo-in for the Democrats) interests me. What's going on?
Curiously, Republicans are not allowed to vote for Democrats in the Republican primary this year. Makes it a lot easier to beat the Democrats that way.

I was thinking of the general election (a long way away) not the primary.
