First of all, equating caucus wins to primaries, let alone a general election, is simply sophistry.

Second, I did not mention purple states. Talking about deep blue.

Minnesota, for example, deep blue and not a chance in hell Santorum wins that one in the general. Statistically insignificant caucus turn out like Colorado. Perfectly useless for purposes of general election deductions.

Well then maybe the GOP can get rid of caucus’. I guess saving money is better than being accurate.
