Sorry, doesn't work that way.

Non-district children can attend any school in PA, provided the district has room, by PAYING TUITION. He was offered, by the director of the charter, free tuition if he would just pay the "technology expenses". Like a petulant little boy, he picked up his marbles and went home rather than paying the technology fees.

I've paid PA school taxes for the past 42 years so don't try to act like that is some sort of badge - he paid property tax - but if I had school age children they would not be eligible for PA education since I don't LIVE there.

Keep telling yourself it was just a witch hunt - I suppose the homestead discount which he was also receiving was an entitlement even though to receive it you SIGN that it is your primary residence.

If he had paid the technology fee and taken the tuition, it would have been illegal. You can’t take gifts from constituents when you are in congress. And his enemies would have torn him up. Don’t let your dislike of him make you think irrationally.

Sorry you don’t like the man, but he paid his taxes and unlike you he lived there, be it part time. If he wasn’t Rick Santorum, who was hated by the left long before he was running for president, this would be a moot point.

You can hang him on a technicality. I’m not.
