Go for it, Gloria Babe.
Getting to carry out discovery against Sandra Fluke might be the most fun El Rushbo ever gets to have with his pants on.
Truth is a defense for libel. Therefore if he can prove that she IS a slut, the case is closed. And discovery allows him to dig as long and as hard as he’d like into that topic.
And I don’t think she wants to go to the hearing on whether she is a “public figure” for purposes of libel law. That will turn into an hours-long recital of her political activism that will blow the cover off this image of the poor abused little private citizen.
But you go right ahead, Gloria Dear. You know best.

(** President Newt Gingrich-"Our beloved republic deserves nothing less." ~Just livin' life, my way~)
One thing the publicity whore will try to insist is that the slut was not a "public figure," but as her civic duty, only wanted to "testify before congress." What needs to be shouted from the rafters is the fact that this woman KNEW she was NOT testifying before congress, but was participating in what was for all intents and purposes a publicity stunt put on by the dems. If she didn't know, then she needs to look into suing the dems for fraud.
By knowingly participating in a publicity stunt, she made herself a "public figure" and was no longer just a private citizen attempting to do her "civic duty."

falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity By the woman's own words, she is not chaste. so I don't see how this can fly. I guess it depends on what judge they get.

Well, it’s illegal to call another man ‘boy’ in one small Georgia town.
Should we prosecute every stupid and outdated law?

Gloria Allred is indeed “All Red” in her politics, but never because of the color of her face, which should blush with shame. Her ancestors must be turning over in their graves at her siding with trash wherever she can push herself in. The woman promotes stupid thinking for her own financial gain and notoriety. Surely no lawyer is really that immoral? /sarc
To: Catsrus
Gloria Allred has sent a letter to Denise Nieman, the County Prosecutor in West Palm Beach, Florida, on behalf of the Womens Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, asking for an investigation into whether Rush Limbaugh violated Florida defamation law when he called Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute.Allred, the publicity whore who pretends to be a lawyer, must need some additional attention.
Gloria, honey, take your meds and try to understand - Sandra "put herself out there" and, as such, made herself into a "public figure". Rush, exercised his First Amendment rights and rightfully poked fun at a "public figure".
There is just no there, there. Had you actually studied the law, you would know this.

An Open Letter to Gloria Allred as per violation of Florida Statute 836.04.
You are a f***ing **nt. Additionally, you are a two bit dime-store cheapish biotch ho. I dare you to prosecute me especially since this post will show up on a computer within the state of Florida.
To: Catsrus
Allred cites Section 836.04 of Florida Statute, which says that "whoever speaks of and concerning any woman, married or unmarried, falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.""Hey - it also says here that it's illegal to dress livestock in formal evening wear."
