The whole event was because the cops were serving a search warrant as part of a home invasion probe at the home of the marine under investigation for being the muscle for that home invasion gang.
Tucson Police say a gun found in Guerenas house had been stolen in a burglary at a home in the 4300 Block of East Holmes three years ago.

Thanks for providing some info that I had not seen about “evidence”.
Regardless, I am of the opinion that the police should have attempted to apprehend him outside of his home vs. in his “castle”.

Buying a stolen gun is not a death penalty offense and it was not part of the bogus warrant. What was wrong with a phone call to a man at home with his wife and kid. And officer friendly driving over during daylight hours.

Did Guerena steal the gun found in his home?
Furthermore, can the police prove the provenance of the gun? They themselves have access to stolen weapons, if I recall correctly.
