One of the things Palin mentioned in a local interview was that two of her kids really didn’t want her to run. I heard an interview with Todd where he said that he was glad that she sat this one out. I think her family’s reluctance along with the lack of support from the GOP, the lack of big bucks finances, aused her to bow out. Not to mention the conservative, Tea party types running after each new candidate that popped up then dropping them for somebody else.
