The problem is that this administration & later ones will try to use this as a reason to kill “inconvenient “ people not only abroad but in downtown USA. This needs to be stopped.

Holder argued in his speech that arresting al-Awlaki -- who has never been indicted or otherwise charged with a crime but who is believed to have encouraged terrorist attacks in the U.S. I think the underlined portions are most relevent; there is a law against making war on the States: namely treason. (The only crime defined in the Constitution.)
