Thanks for link! Honest...with husband’s “cocktail” of meds and instructions on eating (no “real”’eggs; no butter; lean, white meat or fish only) I called it “Frankenfoods” and was pretty much told THIS WAS THE SETTLED MEDICAL SCIENCE.
Meant to say my brother swears by Lipitor for years but still has relatively high chol.
I love butter and olive oil. Love sugar too though..and bread...and pasta ;) The family likes Olivio spread.
Thanks for the link. I have taken myself off my statin prescription given to me due to chest pains, HDL too low and inflammation. I was always achy. I am totally free from soreness and working to regain my agility such as touching my toes while standing and head to knees. Food changes are key.
1. NO processed foods.
2. NO sugar and flour products.
3. I have dairy and meat sparingly - butter on baked sweet potatoes and cheese on salads. If I need something quick, I juice or eat raw vegetables. I never eat pork or bacon, chicken and beef are hormone free, antibiotic free, and grass fed.
