we know now, that it was a mistake to use the choice of words he used The fact that the Left has coerced that "admission" from so many conservatives is telling. Why was it a mistake? The word is completely accurate. It was crude, to be sure. But no cruder than sitting before the United States Congress and talking about rampant promiscuity, then demanding that the taxpayers not only endorse it but PAY for its consequences!
We must NOT concede ANY of the ground on this issue. Limbaugh was not wrong. He did not make a "mistake" in calling a slut a slut.

The choice of words was a “mistake” only becuase Rush should have known this would be a political mine fied for the Dems to force the GOP, and especially Conservatives, to walk through.

I agree. Look at the others in the media who have used this word and worse with no consequences. The plan is to attack Rush for anything and try to silence him. Geraldo said on TV that he wanted to spit in Michelle Malkin’s face, Navratolova called Magic Johnson a male slut, Letterman made terrible refrences to Palin’s youngest daughter. Ann Coulter has been called vicious and untrue names. No, Rush was not wrong - especially if one listen to him in context.

Please quit perpetuating the myth that she was testifying before congress. She was not. It was a staged media event made to look like she was before congress. I know it seems petty, but it bothers me that this has somehow become accepted as the storyline.
