This is something I have felt about Newt for a while —that he could begin to really appeal to young people — a little because he’s older and roly poly, and they might just sort of get a kick out of his professor-like wit and odd charm.
I’ve always felt he’d catch on with them sooner or later. Something in my gut. Look at how they love Ron Paul — and he’s old and white, etc. I mean — who cares, really.
He needs to change the music up at his rallies - put on a little something more contemporary for the kids ... all I ever hear is hokey country tunes that just don’t jive with Newt’s image.
