......Romney's Developing Sellout on GlobalWarming
But those conservatives and Tea Party patriots overlooking Romney'sRomneycare apostasy to still vote for him in the primaries are setting themselves up to be gravely disappointed again on this issue. As Governor of Massachusetts, Romney appointed to state office Obama science czar JohnHoldren, a wacky far out leftist, and Obama EPA AssistantAdministrator GinaMcCarthy, who is writing and implementing all of the Obama restrictions on power plants.
Among the advisors to the Romney campaign on these issues today is JamesConnaughton, formerly head of the Bush WhiteHouseCouncil of EnvironmentalQuality, and a long time ardent supporter of cap and trade. Another is JeffHolmstead, Bush EPAAirChief who promoted global warming hysteria, and an interstate clean air rule providing the precedent for Obama's job and economy destroying CrossStateAirPollutionRule. Still another is Edward Krenick, another former Bush EPA supporter of cap and trade. No wonder highly active global warming skeptic James Taylor says that Romney's people on global warming are as bad as Obama's people.
...Gingrich was the lead witness testifying against cap and trade in Congress, Romney has little to say on the issue, and no history of fighting against it. A central theme of the Gingrich campaign recently has been to emphasize the enormous store of American energy, especially fossil fuel oil and gas, that must be fully tapped without reservation,... Romney responds by saying this theme is just pandering to gas price hysteria.
...Gingrich calls for replacing the Environmental Protection Agency entirely with a new Environmental Solutions Agency,.... Romney opposes abolishing or structurally changing the EPA.
The only hope for reviving cap and trade is for a newly elected Republican President to propose it, undercutting Congressional Republican opposition to it. Conservatives will rue allowing Romney a pass to the nomination if he turns out to be that guy.

Romneys Troubling Appointments (Mitt's environmental policy team now works for Obama)....." Gina McCarthy, the chief EPA clean air regulator, also worked as an environmental regulator for then-Governor Romney. Her role now is as point guard (nyuk) in the Obama Administrations fight to make coal fired electric generating plants extinct."...
If you REALLY WANT TO STOP Myth-Rom - Let's make a deal NOW - In the Primary:

Quinn: If you want to know what the democrats are up to, look at what they are accusing the Republicans of.
Fox New's behavior last night is just one example of how much the GOP-e fear Newt.
FOR OTHERS ON THIS THREAD THE GLOBAL WARMING=ROMNEY IS SERIOUS.
Bishop Romney is the absolute worst thing that could happen to the Republican party. As the nominee, Obama will beat him to pieces and sadly, I don’t even see that as a bad thing.
It may look ugly but Rick and Newt are killing the Establishment's choice -- CONSERVATIVES are holding the line this time.
I just watched a heart-wrenching loss to Romney last night that was totally avoidable...over 60% of Ohioans voted anti-Romney yesterday, BUT we still lost.
There is just no way I can bring myself to ote or Romne, ever. If we are going to have a far-left Democrat in the White House, let’s have him clearly labeled as such.
Conservative totals out-do Mitt's ill gotten gains. We have strength in numbers. If Newt drops they'll make quick work of Santorum and visa versa -- the landscape ahead is dangerous for Mitt and his handlers know it. (I strongly believe Gingrich understands this)
It is LONG PAST TIME that we dealt with the festering thorn in our side of the GOP selecting our nominee (and then losing in the general election). We need to embrace this opportunity as a gift to conservative voices.
It is time to ENGAGE the Establishment Elite. When will we have a better opportunity? We KNEW this would not be easy but we must press on with confidence in the correctness and strength of our message and ideology.
Our battle cry: "Remember 2010!"
I respect your desire to defeat mitt and the rino establishment... but attacking Romeny for Globull warming after Newt did his couch session with Pelosi on Globull warming? Color me confused.
It would be like attacking Romney for being soft on illegals that have been in the nation for many years and therefore we should support Newt who believes.... ooops.
They you need to get up to speed. Read some of the article I posted.
Instead of trying to attack Newt (and by extension Rick Perry), what do you have to say about Mitt and "cap and trade" and his Massachsetts advisers (both environmental and health care) working in the Obama White House?
More likely the newly re-elected Obama will pass it through the Democratic Congress (thanks to Romney's suppressing the Republican vote).
I don't now and never have considered Ron Paul to be a conservative.
Wheeling and dealing at a brokered convention would be wonderful, but first we have to make it a brokered convention.
I'd settle for smart conservatives: If Santorum leads in your state, then vote Santorum. If Gingrich leads in your state, then vote Gingrich. That's what I did yesterday in Ohio. If others had done the same, Romney would have lost Ohio. Heck, if just 10% of Gingrich supporters had done that yesterday, then Romney would have lost Ohio.
In fact, had we done that nation wide, Romney would have won ONLY Mass and Idaho. (BTW, what is wrong with Idaho?)
Santorum has dropped below 20% in GA. If that holds, he cannot claim any delegates. Two had been put in his column.
03/06 - GA: 47.4% Newt; 6.5% Paul; 25.7% Romney; 19.6% Santorum = 97% reporting.
Only his fellow crony communists will benefit.
Unless Mitt convincingly refutes the contents of this thread, he is back on my “No way! NOhow!” list.
