I'm sorry Rush Limbaugh called 30-year-old Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut." She's really just another professional femme-a-gogue helping to manufacture a false narrative about the GOP "war on women." I'm sorry the civility police now have an opening to demonize the entire right based on one radio comment -- because it's the progressive left in this country that has viciously and systematically slimed female conservatives for their beliefs.
We have the well-worn battle scars to prove it. And no, we don't need coddling phone calls from the pandering president of the United States to convince us to stand up and fight.
At his first press conference of the year on Tuesday, the Nation's Concern Troll explained that he phoned Fluke to send a message to his daughters and all women that they shouldn't be "attacked or called horrible names because they are being good citizens." After inserting himself into the fray and dragging Sasha and Malia into the debate, Obama then told a reporter he "didn't want to get into the business of arbitrating" language and civility. Too late, pal.
The fact is, "slut" is one of the nicer things I've been called over 20 years of public life. In college during the late 1980s, it was "race traitor," "coconut" (brown on the outside white on the inside) and "white man's puppet." After my first book, "Invasion," came out in 2001, it was "immigrant-hater," the "Radical Right's Asian Pitbull," "Tokyo Rose" and "Aunt Tomasina." In my third book, 2005's "Unhinged," I published entire chapters of hate mail rife with degrading, unprintable sexual epithets and mockery of my Filipino heritage.
If I had a dollar for every time libs have called me a "Manila whore" and "Subic Bay bar girl," I'd be able to pay for a ticket to a Hollywood-for-Obama fundraiser.
Self-serving opponents argue that such attacks do not represent "respectable," "mainstream" liberal opinion about their conservative female counterparts. But it was feminist godmother Gloria Steinem who called Texas Republican Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison a "female impersonator." It was NOW leader Patricia Ireland who commanded her flock to only vote for "authentic" female political candidates. It was Al Gore consultant Naomi Wolf who accused the late Jeane Kirkpatrick of being "uninflected by the experiences of the female body."
It was Matt Taibbi, now of Rolling Stone magazine, who mocked my early championing of the tea party movement by jibing: "Now when I read her stuff, I imagine her narrating her text, book-on-tape style, with a big, hairy set of (redacted) in her mouth. It vastly improves her prose."
It was Keith Olbermann, then at MSNBC and now at Al Gore's Current TV, who wrote on Twitter that columnist S.E. Cupp was "a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does" and who called me a "mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it." He stands by those remarks. Olbermann has been a special guest at the White House.
Some of us have not forgotten when liberal Wisconsin radio host John "Sly" Sylvester outrageously accused GOP Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch of performing "fellatio on all the talk-show hosts in Milwaukee" and sneered that she had "pulled a train" (a crude phrase for gang sex). (Earlier, he called former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice a "black trophy" and "Aunt Jemima.")
Or when MSNBC misogynist Ed Schultz called talk show host Laura Ingraham a "talk slut" for criticizing Obama's petty beer summit. Or when Playboy published a list of the top 10 conservative women who deserved to be "hate-f**ked." The article, which was promoted by Anne Schroeder Mullins at Politico.com, included Ingraham, "The View's" Elisabeth Hasselbeck, former Bush spokeswoman Dana Perino, GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann and others. Yours truly topped the list with the following description: a "highly f**kable Filipina" and "a regular on Fox News, where her tight body and get-off-my-lawn stare just scream, 'Do me!'"
And then there's the left's war on Sarah Palin, which would require an entire national forest of trees to publish.
A reporter asked Obama to comment on examples of liberal hate speech at Tuesday's press conference. He whiffed, of course. This is, after all, the brave leader who sat on his hands while his street thugs attacked tea party mothers and grandmothers as "Koch whores" during the fight over union reform in Wisconsin. (As I reported last week, his re-election campaign is now targeting the Koch brothers' private foundation donors in a parallel effort to chill conservative speech and activism.) He's leading by example.
So no, we won't get any phone calls from Mr. Civility. Acknowledging the war on conservative women would obliterate The Narrative. Enjoy the silence.

Agreed, the silence from the Left when it comes to the vast majority of sexist slurs hurled at women in general and those of moral rectitude in particular is absolutely deafening. Only when one of their own comes under attack, are they moved to call for “civility” in discourse.
Personally, I believe modern English does not contain any terms that can strongly enough emphasize the total lack of moral character and collapsed logical thinking of this variety of succubus, a life-draining demon in the external form of a human female. And Sandra Fluke IS an anti-life, totally amoral, monomaniacal distortion of whatever there ever was that was once human.
Glad she is on the side of the conservative movement.
As usual, Ms. Malkin hits it out of the park. She so succinctly exposes the stunning hypocrisy of the left.
One of the problems with the left is that they don’t want to live with us, but they do want to control us. We, on the other hand, just want nothing to do with them at all, and want only to be left alone.
I think we, as a nation and as a people, have reached a point beyond where any reconciliation is possible. We should break apart and establish our respective states; still a union of states, but with real state sovereignty. The left in their states and we in ours; a loose “confederation,” if you will. Or, separate countries if that is more workable.
Remember JFK’s words: When non-violent protests are no longer possible then violent revolution is inevitable. A peaceful separation is a non-violent protest. But, you know, the left does NOT want separation, because they want to control and dominate us. Thus, I fear, JFK’s alternative is ever more likely. God help us.

I am still just amazed how the left screams and DEMANDS that everyone is to “stay out of their bedroom and wombs” and not dictate what they can do and choose.
With all of this mess, they are now screaming and DEMANDING and dictating that we ARE to be in the bedroom and their wombs through the FORCED support of abortion, free bc pills, and condoms so they can have their recreation activities.
Besides irony, I guess critical thinking is another concept that they are just incapable of grasping...
I stopped watching Chris Matthews because he beats up girls. It was a summer 2004 show where he was “interviewing” Michelle. Interview, in this context, meant interrupting, accusing, and trashing. He was a pr^ck of the first order.
Like Breitbart used to do, she points out hypocrisy by simply repeating the hate, verbatim. It’s a powerful argument.
This need to go viral. And sent to all the sanctimonious advertisers. They still advertise on MSNBC, Rolling Stone, Politco, etc.

The truly sad part of all this is that republican men don’t have the balls to defend conservative women. And I include Todd Palin in that. If some imp called my wife a Dumb slut and a c6nt I’d beat his ass down or get my ass kicked trying. But that’s me and I undedrstand there are niceties in politics. But could they at least open their mouths in defense of their women?
A highly-respected Chaplain of the United States Senate, Dr. Peter Marshall, once delivered a sermon entitled "Keepers of the Springs". That sermon was included in his book, "Mr. Jones, Meet the Master," a best seller.
Conservative women in America today continue to embrace America's founding principles of individual liberty, opportunity, and freedom to prosper, as well as their Creator-endowed, therefore unalienable, First Amendment rights. They embrace the idea of freedom to choose their children's schools, and how their families will practice their religious faith.
If that offends so-called "progressives," then it is the "progressives" who are out of line with the Constitution.
Those who are described as "conservative" women, I believe, continue to see their role in something of the same manner as that Dr. Marshall described in the following excerpted portion of his words. Individually, they have not been coopted by the limiting and provincial ideas of feminism, but have chosen, as individuals, to follow a higher and special calling as preservers and conservers of ideas which tend toward liberty for themselves and their posterity.
Dr. Marshall:
“Once upon a time, a certain town grew up at the foot of a mountain range.
It was sheltered in the lee of the protecting heights,
so that the wind that shuddered at the doors
and flung handfuls of sleet against the window panes was a wind whose fury was spent.
"High up in the hills, a strange and quiet forest dweller took it upon himself to be the Keeper of the Springs.
He patrolled the hills and wherever he found a spring,
he cleaned its brown pool of silt and fallen leaves, of mud and mold and took away from the spring all foreign matter,

If we build a reservoir just above the town,
we can dispense with his services and save his salary.’
“Therefore, the City Council voted to dispense with the un-necessary cost
of a Keeper of the Springs, and to build a reservoir.
"So the Keeper of the Springs no longer visited the brown pools
but watched from the heights while they built the reservoir.
"When it was finished, it soon filled up with water, to be sure,
but the water did not seem to be the same.
It did not seem to be as clean, and a green scum soon befouled its stagnant surface.
"There were constant troubles with the delicate machinery of the mills,
for it was often clogged with slime, and the swans found another home above the town.
"At last, an epidemic raged, and the clammy, yellow fingers of sickness reached into every home in every street and lane.
"The City Council met again.
Sorrowfully, it faced the city's plight, and frankly
it acknowledged the mistake of the dismissal of the Keeper of the Springs.
"They sought him out in his hermit hut high in the hills,
and begged him to return to his former joyous labor.
"Gladly he agreed, and began once more to make his rounds.
"It was not long until pure water came lilting down under tunnels of ferns and mosses and to sparkle in the cleansed reservoir.
" Millwheels turned again as of old.
Sickness waned, and convalescent children playing in the sun laughed again
because the swans had come back.
"Do not think me fanciful, too imaginative or too extravagant in my language when I say that I think of women,
and particularly of our mothers,
as Keepers of the Springs.
"The phrase, while poetic, is true and descriptive.
We feel its warmth ...its softening influence ...
and however forgetful we have been ...
however much we have taken for granted life's precious gifts
we are conscious of wistful memories that surge out of the sweet, tender, poignant fragrances of love.
"Nothing that has been said, that could be said that ever will be said,
would be eloquent enough, expressive enough, or adequate to make articulate that peculiar emotion we feel to our mothers.
"So I shall make my tribute a plea for Keepers of the Springs,
who will be faithful to their tasks.
"There never has been a time when there was a greater need for Keepers of the Springs,
when there were more polluted springs to be cleansed.
"If the home fails, the country is doomed.
The breakdown of home life and influence will mark the breakdown of the nation.
"If the Keepers of the Springs desert their posts or are unfaithful to their responsibilities
the future outlook of this country is black indeed.
" This generation needs Keepers of the Springs who will be courageous enough
to cleanse the springs that have been polluted.
"It's not an easy task -- nor is it a popular one, but it must be done for the sake of the children,
and the young women of today must do it."
Those whom so-called "progressives" deride and disparage by the very term, "conservative women," are, and have been in the forefront of defense of freedom from Abigail Adams to now.
They are, and have been, "Keepers of the Springs" of intellectual thought and the spirit of liberty from which opportunity and bright hope for future generations is derived.
