yeah i have XM and cannot handle WMAL bc of the commercials. she is very cute, i feel like i’ve seen her grow up. She spoke at YAF when my daughter attended the conference about 3-4 years ago now. She and her husband just got married this past summer. I don’t think she’s quite 30 yet, i want to say she’s maybe 27-28, but that’s just a guess.
“Chris Plante who is on now makes Michael Graham look like piker.”
...I never said Graham was any good. On the contrary. He’s a great writer and a so so talk host. But he said some truths about CAIR and pffft.
Who owns WMAL?
My guess is it’s a budget cut by the parent radio group.
That’s Robin Meade, not MKH.
A very bright, very pretty, conservative able to debate and win against all the liberals on Fox News Channel.
WMAL carries Rush. I wonder if there is more to follow.
I used to listen to Michael Graham when he was on WTNT before he was on WMAL. I even called his show.
My point was Chris Plante is much more controversial about the “troglodytes”, as he calls the CAIR types, than Michael ever was. WMAL has had a change of heart since they knee JERKed Michael off the air.
She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
Good for her.....one doesn't have much of a life when you have to get up at 3 AM to go to work....especially when you have the option of other employment gigs that keep the grits and butter on the table.
She does a nice job on the Factor.....when the Bloviator doesn't overtalk her or step all over her lines.
Leni
A pleasant mistake Alaska! A gorgeous Ohio gal, for sure!!
I don’t do TV. Haven’t for 15 years now. That’s probably why I never heard of her.
I have now, though.
I quit watching the pervert Bill O’Really when he lied on air about FreeRepublic being racist.
He sure does surround himself with attractive conservative women like Katherine, Megyn and Laura. eww...
Reason enough to love her!
Mmmmmmm....Ham.
well then, she’s lucky not to look her age ; )
They should have had Obama in the negotiations. He told Republicans last year “don’t call my bluff” during debt ceiling negotiations, and put the fear of God into the GOP.
And recently, Obama said he doesn’t bluff, as talk of what to do about Iran had happened.
You want tough negotiating, Obama’s your man.
My my my........
Well yeah, you're correct in one sense:
Ex post, we can say it wasn't a bluff. But -- and here's the critical component -- WMAL wouldn't have knownAs I have always understood the term, and as most dictionaries seem to define it, "calling a bluff" means to make somebody prove if he is serious about a threat -- WHETHER OR NOT the threat is real.
In other words, you "call the bluff" precisely to find out if the other side is bluffing or not.
Or, ex post doesn't equate to ex facto, as we used to say in my logic class. Or was it my Latin class? Can't really recall!
