RE :”
Although Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke testified to the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee last month that contraception can cost a law student $3,000 over three years and that some of her fellow students could not afford it, a Target store only 3 miles from the law school currently sells a month's supply of birth control pills for only $9 to people who do not have insurance plans covering contraceptives.
That would make the total cost for birth control pills for a student who decided to use them for all three years of law school just $324.
Fluke was the sole witness who appeared on Feb. 23 before an all-Democratic panel chaired by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)..”
Fluke is Pelosi’s expert on ‘women's health issues”. Looks like with all the expert ‘testimony’ on woman's issues this somehow got missed from Dems staged act.
After Issa's hearing on religious liberty Pelosi organized her women house members to a press conference to protest Republicans holding a hearing on women's health issues without a woman testifying. Republican's dont seem to have a clue how to counter Dems with their own staged drama for the voters or at least segments of them. You didnt see them protest Pelosi holding a press conference on religious liberty without any religious leaders 'testifying' did you? In fact I think they ran scared, especially Issa.

The thing is - I don't care how many men Fluke sleeps with - or if she sleeps with any - that's her business. This isn't a 'moral' issue with me. She's an adult woman in a free culture. This isn't Iran.
But I don't want to be forced to pay for her 'idea' of health care or her concept of necessary recreation.
I don't care how much she pays for birth control... as long as that 'payment' isn't forced on me.
For my 'health', I'd like a jacuzzi - it would help my health. I just don't feel it's Sandra Fluke's responsibility to pay for it...
