Agreed. Having been in Washington so long is a double edged sword. I hope (as I believe it has) that his conversion has made him a better man. A Gingrich/West ticket may be the best we can hope for right now. Can you imagine those two? They certainly wouldn’t be taking people’s (MEDIA ESPECIALLY!) crap; that, I’m pretty confident about.
A Gingrich/West win would most likely be the most important and positive administration this country has had in a long time.
