Yes, he is coming soon but there will be much to endure in the coming years. Fhu.com has a great free to listen to Be still spiritual exercise for people to move towards God so that they will have the patience to survive intact.

Thought it interesting that the first commercial on Rush’s show today in Detroit was a Carbonite commercial.

He could come at any time. Events point to its imminence. We want to be ready for him and by His grace we will be. He has not appointed us to wrath but salvation (I Thessalonians 5:9) because His wrath on us for our sin was all used up on Jesus 2000 years ago.

The Day of Vengeance, however, is a different story, and the seven years of Hell on Earth will happen after we're taken up. After He's taken us to be with Him in Heaven, it will all start to happen. The world will be plunged into darkness and, at the same time, there will be a huge world-wide evangelistic effort starting with Israel coming to Jesus. However, every Christan convert will be killed and after seven years the whole world will be dead except for a "remnant" of Israel hiding in the mountains of Jordan.

In the meantime, we have His promise to comfort and strengthen us to walk with Him and look for His return:

A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me. What I say to you is true, That you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. John 16:19-20.

God Bless.
