ProFlowers just announced on Facebook that it is dropping its advertising on Rush. DailyKos and others had been organizing a boycott of ProFlowers, which had held out until now. For full article here is the link:

I, for one, am glad I never bought anything from Proflowers. I made the mistake of buying Sherrie’s Berries ONCE. Under the lovely decorative coatings the berries were green and unripe. Strawberries are NOT supposed to CRUNCH when you bite into them!
I bought Rush’s tea last night, canceled my Carbonite subscription today, and sent Rush an e-mail of support. And I will vote for Newt on Tuesday.
So DU finds out if one of Rush’s sponsers sell on Amazon and get them there too. http://www.amazon.com/LifeLock-Identity-Theft-Protection-Starter/product-reviews/B004KKSUS0/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending
Neo-fascism/neo-totalitarianism at it’s finest, using a staged socialist event as a pretext.
DEFUND socialist collectives, foreign and domestic (especially their enablers in corporate America), or we will all be enslaved by BIG GOVERNMENT/BIG MEDIA/BIG FINANCE/BIG CORP.
1984 on steroids. Why is this totalitarian template overshadowing the most “free” country in the history of civilization?
“Fundamental transformation” moments we are living in. A coup is taking place in the republic.
DEPOPULATE socialists/totalitarians from the body politic.
I can’t wait until tomorrow to give these companies a piece of my mind! I have already emailed them but I am so po’d I need to tell them in person what I think of them.
My Carbonite subscription is up in 29 days and I will not be renewing. I plan on writing them a note telling them if they would censor free speech then they can’t be trusted with my data.
Good all over you. I’ll be sure not to use or by any of those goods and services also.
I agree!!! I was surprised to see that ProFlowers (a Hannity sponsor too) dropped him.
I would like a running list of Rush sponsors that drop him so I can NEVER buy from them again.
Check out what they did to proflowers on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Dozen-Rainbow-Roses-FREE-Chocolates/product-reviews/B004K68LCO/ref=cm_rdphist_1?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&filterBy=addOneStar
Are you sure Sherries Berries cut advertising from Rush? We need a master list.
Neo-fascism/neo-totalitarianism at its finest, using a staged socialist event as a pretext. Mini-Reichstag moment. Watch for many more to come. OWS anyone?
Good on you. I don’t use any of these products, but guess I could email them anyway and voice my disgust.

Used Proflowers several years ago, bought flowers for my grandmother’s funeral. Don’t plan to use Proflowers in the future. They were the only company among this list I ever did business with. I don’t use Carbonite. I have my own file backup system in place. Most people don’t bother, but I do. External drives are relatively inexpensive, and backing up is relatively easy these days. There’s no reason more people could be doing it themselves.
They opted in exactly because his listeners could afford to purchase their products. In fact, I am sure they were on a waiting list of sponsors.
I hope they recognize and pay what they have done to themselves by their actions.
The Rush Limbaugh show has made a fortune for these companies, even the very small ones just starting out. Can't remember now what the name of that drink, but Rush sold that product and the company did very well.
Shari’s Berries IS Proflowers.
