Except everyone is going to be listening to his show to see what he says about it now.
He might even admit he was wrong about Ms. Fluke being a slut, and state that what Ms. Fluke really said is that all her friends at Georgetown are sluts, broke, and likely to get pregnant.
That is what she said, is it not?
That is what she said, is it not?
No. You really should go read Fluke's statement if you can stomach it on other grounds.
The core of Fluke's statement was that she was going to tell the story of six women.
One women (a real candidate for MENSA) allegedly was raped but didn't seek medical care because she knew her healthcare plan didn't cover contraceptives, so she didn't think it covered certain kinds of things related to her ya-ya. As stupid as that sounds, does it have anything to do with being a slut, broke, and likely to be pregnant?
Another woman allegedly had polycystic ovarian syndrome, but despite her physician stating that she needed a type of birth control pill for treatment, the insurance company allegedly interviewed the woman and decided she wanted the birth control pills for sex and wouldn't cover them.
Does that heart-wrenching story have anything to do with being a slut, broke, and likely to be pregnant?
A third woman allegedly she has endometriosis that cant be proven without surgery. But allegedly her health insurer won't cover the birth control pill needed to treat the endometriosis because it hasn't been proven and the pill is a contraceptive.
Does that story have anything to do with being a slut, broke, and likely to be pregnant?
I can hold you by the hand through all of Fluke's carefully written speech. It was designed to show that women need contraceptives for medical reasons unrelated to sex. It didn't say that these women were from Georgetown. Fluke was speaking as an 'expert' on these issues, and because she wasn't an expert, she wasn't allowed to speak to all of Congress under oath - that's why she ended up reading a statement to a bunch of Democrats in front of cameras in a staged circus.
But don't tell me "what what Ms. Fluke really said is that all her friends at Georgetown are sluts, broke, and likely to get pregnant." Because she didn't. And like Rush Limbaugh, I don't think you read or listened to Sandra Fluke's typical leftist statement. Fluke found or invented women who needed the pill for medical reasons and were denied it because it was also a contraceptive. That was the whole purpose of her statement.
