How do you propose to deal with the mass exodus of scared sponsors... which threatens to eventually close down his show?
How about getting some different sponsors? For the last 20 years, the ratings battle in talk radio has been for the distant 2nd to Rush. This was threatening to kill his show? Not bloody likely. DemonRats have been trying to shut him down for 20 years via abuse of the legal system, “equality” bills in Congress, “hate-speech” legislation, you name it.
Does anybody really, sincerely think these sponsors are coming back???? The libs are in for the kill. Even with this lame-azz apology, any sponsor that has already quit will be attacked like crazy for returning to Limbaugh's show. Plus now he has betrayed millions of his listeners. Limbaugh is finished. Rush said nothing wrong in his original statement, and should have stood is ground. Now he is a pansy in the dust.
Listeners are more important than sponsers, because listeners bring in the sponsors. Now, he has alienated listerers.
Apologies piss me off beyond belief. I hate them.
