This is ridiculous: Carbonite has now decided to stop advertising on his show... even after he apologized:

“...Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.”

Was Carbonite one of the products that Rush would endorse personally? (like the way Laura Ingram does for “Goto Meeting”) - or were they just buying commercial time?

Sounds like Rush told Carbonite to GFY...especially after that message that cited the Monday meeting...

What was David Friend going to do - lecture Rush Limbaugh?! FAT CHANCE!!!

Of course Carbonite joined the anti-Rush bandwagon, their CEO probably got the memo from his DNC or MoveOn.org friends. David Friend, the CEO of Carbonite is a hard core liberal. Here are some of the groups and people he gave money to in 2004 (from FEC records)

DEAN, HOWARD
DEMOCRACY FOR AMERICA
TEXANS FOR TRUTH
KNOWLES, TONY
VIA TONY KNOWLES FOR US SENATE
KERRY, JOHN F
VIA JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT INC
MOVEON.ORG POLITICAL ACTION
FLYNN, MATTHEW J
VIA MATT FLYNN FOR CONGRESS
AMERICA COMING TOGETHER

Is that letter at your link REAL? It's so sickening it's hard to believe it. They call Fluke "courageous" and "well intentioned." Oh my God, the lies from the Left these SOBs buy into! I'm furious. I don't use Carbonite, but I will contact them and take any and every opportunity in the months ahead to trash them. This is beyond Orwellian. Time to treat them like they treat us.
