I know it seems like a mistake but it may actually turn out ok.

The Lame Stream Media will either have to drop it or keep it going with the apology. My guess is they will want to drop it because then Maher can be brought up in every conversation and the fact he didn't apologize.

On the Sunday shows, if they ask any Republican about Rush all they have to say is “He apologized. Maher called Palin something just as bad and he never apologized. That's all I'm going to say about it”.

I agree with the sentiment.

However, I believe that Rush did not apologise for what he said. Rush (the ever gentleman) apologised to whom he said it.

Rush Limbaugh is a class act as far as I am concerned,
