‘Fox News Watch’ ended with an ‘in memoriam’ to Andrew Breitbart.

At the end all four commentators were not allowed to comment. The program faded away on a very embarrassing note showing them biting their lips.

Really disgusted me that more respect was not shown to a real and true brave journalist.

Loved Red Eye’s tribute though. So would have Breitbart.

That’s why I believe Beck has integrity. Fox put heat on him about disgruntled advertisers so he quit rather than soften his programming.

Liberals have double standards. If a pro-abortion type called a female a “slut” or worse (as has been discussed in other threads), that person would likely be supported by the usual liberal groups. But if someone is on the pro-life side and uses a term like Rush did, look out! The nails will scratch away.

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.

Rush did not apologise for what he said. Rush (the ever gentleman) apologised to whom he said it.

Rush sits pretty high on my pedestal, but he dropped a couple of steps with this apology. He said nothing, absolutely nothing to apologize for. Nothing even close to what Bill Maher says about conservative women every GD time he opens his mouth. Besides any single woman that needs a thousand dollars of cont reception pills or devices in a year IS a slut.

I have mixed feelings.

It’s obvious the woman in question decided to become part of the public discourse when she tried to to in front of congress to testify, and what she got is certainly no worse than what the average conservative gets when they speak up.

On the other hand, Rush is one of the most listened to broadcasters in America, he is rich and he is powerful, by singling out one low-profile, useful-idiot, especially a female-useful-idiot, he let the left paint him as a bully. Kind of like the Micheal J. Fox incident, Rush was right but got himself in a position where he was painted as “the bully”.

I think he would have done better to get the price of bulk condoms, done the math to figure out how many times a person would have to have sex to spend the money, purposefully screwed up the math underestimating the number then be shocked when a caller calls up with the right number. No names would have been called, the words and ideas of the woman would have been ridiculed without ever having a powerful man call a girl names.
