I’m no fan of Santorum. I never have been.

Well, let’s no talk about Gingrich’s three marriages, his attacks on Reagan in private, the Nancy Pelosi park bench photo-op, the attack on Paul Ryan Medicare Reforms (”right-wing social engineering”) and on it goes.

Your posts do nothing to help Santorum. Are you really a supporter of his?

Last I checked, Santorum only endorsed Newt after Thompson had quit.

The choices at that point were Mitt, Paul or McCain.

Vin and I both seem to agree that having a serious discussion is better than spamming threads.

I think "Vin" can speak for himself.

It wasn't a spam, it was an adroitly researched, factual, verified expose of Sanctimonium's corruption, and violation of the Establishment Clause. And you still haven't answered my question: Isn't it a little difficult to apply the adjective "principled" to someone who does something like this?

I sent this to a lot of hardline Santorum supporters, who read and considered it, and told me it made them wonder how much else they didn't know about Rick. And they were open to hearing and reading more about Newt and Santorum. Of course, these were thoughtful people, who had reasoning and thought processes I could appeal to by having respect for their intellect and character. I can see why you didn't choose to read it, or answer my question, except with your usual snideness. You seem to approve of Rick's actions, and that at least is good to know.

No, they are the antagonistic, argumentative, and rude posturings of one who will not see the truth. Santorum is no conservative.

The time to sell permanent moon-based colonies within eight years and have $2.50/gallon gas is for moonbats and the loonies.

There is an excellent 30-min vid where Newt lays out his plan for 2.50 gas step by doable step. AS for the moonbats, maybe, if you knew what was going on in the world, you would pause before you posted things that bespeak your true ignorance. You're really not doing your alleged candidate any good by being a jerk.

Chinese moon base 2002

http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpps/news/russia-us-moon-base-nasa-dpgonc-20110119-to-_17194074

Russia is talking with the US and Europe on plans to create a manned research base on the moon, the head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos said Thursday.

Roscosmos is discussing the possibilities for a permanent moon base with officials from NASA and the European Space Agency, the agency's chief, Vladimir Popovkin said.

"We don't want man to just step on the moon," Popovkin told Vesti FM radio station, according to the Ria Novosti news agency. "Today, we know enough about it, we know that there is water in its polar areas ... we are now discussing how to begin [the moon's] exploration with NASA and the European Space Agency."

He said the plan was either to set up a base on the moon or launch a station to orbit around it. Russia also is planning to send two unmanned mission to the moon by 2020, Popovkin said."

I was never too keen on Santorum, but I thought I could vote for him in the primary if Gingrich dropped (Perry was my first choice).

Things have changed for me. As much as some can’t handle Gingrich and his ‘baggage’— I can’t handle Santorum.

I never cared for him to start with, just some personal dislike I can’t really define. What turns me off most is his support for unions. I detest unions.

Some call him sanctimonious as a name, but in for me it turns out, yes, he rubs me that way. What little support I could muster for him, it is gone.

I just can’t bring myself to support him and I think I dislike him nearly as much as Romney. I will sit out the primary if there isn’t a Newt.

I will vote against Obama no matter who our nominee is. I will be done with the GOP if we get Romney.

This is now a 2-man race. Gingrich is splitting the conservative vote and Romney is shooting right through the breach.

The hypocrisy of the Santorumites never ceases to amuse.

Back when Newt was leading Romney by a significant margin, with Santorum visibly splitting the conservative vote, you guys defended that there was no justification for Santorum to drop out and that he should press on regardless of the electoral consequences. Oh, but now that Romney is wiping the floor with Santorum, you insist that Newt should drop out. Lol.

If this thing had whittled down to a 2-man race between Romney and Newt back in late January, we probably wouldn't be in this mess right now.

Yeah, but the header also says Campfield DUMPS Gingrich.

It is only natural that would draw Gingrich supporters to take a snipe at Campfield and support Newt.

It wasn’t a Santorum only thread, it involved both candidates and passions run high. :)

It’s a multi-page constructed item that you have posted to 4 threads in the past 3 days, and which you posted in THIS thread, which was about a state co-chair in the Gingrich campaign quitting and supporting Santorum — which means the post wasn’t on the topic of the thread.

That is the definition of Spam.

I ignored your question because it has nothing to do with the thread, or anything I have said on this thread, and I don’t generally answer random off-topic questions, no matter how rudely people insist I owe them responses.

If you want to provide a service, set up your spams on a nice page, and provide links to them for people.

If you want to provide more of a service, try talking about the topic of a thread, not just posting what interests you more. If you really like your own words, post a vanity, and then people can decide if they want to bother reading it or not.

As you mention, Vin can speak for himself, and certainly doesn’t need YOU posting that he can speak for himself — he could do it himself, as you said, and I did ping him to my comment.

Same here. I experienced an immediate visceral dislike of Santorum when I 1st started paying attention to him in one of the early debates. The guy just rubs me the wrong way. I could wrap a bunch of adjectives around it and say that he comes across to me as a smarmy, weak, whining, passive-aggressive, disingenuous prig. But more to the point, I just don't trust the guy and I don't like him.

Apparently this isn't an uncommon sentiment.

A very anti-Catholic post.

One would have to study all the deeds going back to the 1700’s to find out who really had a claim to this land.

I believe there is more here than meets the eye.

don’t call my work spam, okay? What have you done for you candidate? Other than sit on the sidelines and make snide nasty comments about others promoting theirs?

I have gotten good responses to my posts, and many private ones, and some people think the information I provide is accurate and worth reading. I am sure that doesn’t mean everybody, including you.

I don’t do snide, I don’t do snark, I don’t sit around and condemn others... maybe you should try it. AND you still haven’t answered my question? Make an exception to your spam rule for once, and answer my question... that seems to be the heart of the matter here...
