There was a time when Americans saw value in US citizenship. I read about Indian tour companies that arrange for a trip from India to the USA so a woman can give birth to her child here, and take the birth certificate home to India. Later, that child has an option to be a US citizen.
Could it be that the grandparents of Obama saw some value in establishing US birth for their child’s child? This no doubt seems demented, to today’s progressive.
Good point. My son was born in the United Kingdom of American Parents. I registered him as a dual national UK and USA. I thought it might be of use to him years later as it would allow him to work anywhere in the EEC and of course the USA. Because of his UK citizenship he can hold any elected office in the United States except President or Vice President.
I suspect Obama was or is a dual national. Either by place of birth or choice of his mother doing exactly what I did for my son.
He may have been born in Hawaii but his mother may have obtained Obama a dual nationality via his Kenyan father or his Indonesian Step Father. If he was a dual national and did not renounce the other nationality upon reaching legal adulthood, he is is 100% ineligible to legally be president of the United States.
