U.S. forces should leave Afghanistan “immediately” if its leader won’t apologize for its soldiers killing Americans, Newt Gingrich says.

Stumping on Friday for Tuesday’s Georgia Republican presidential primary, Gingrich lit into President Barack Obama’s Afghanistan policies.

“This is an administration that apologizes to Islam and makes war on the Catholic Church,” the former Georgia Congressman and House speaker told nearly 200 people in Savannah.

AMEN! Newt needs to hammer this point home. He should be on every Sunday show and take out full pages ads in the Sunday papers of every Super Tuesday state.

Karzai is demanding that the US put on trial the soldiers who burned the Korans (without mentioning that the reason they were being destroyed was because MUSLIM prisoners had already “desecrated” them by using them to send coded messages to each other.)

The New York Times is trying to turn this story into another Haditha and we need a candidate who will not just call them on it but demand that the President tell Karzai to apologize to US!

Kate...Have been away from the election for a couple days now...not commenting much as I want this to go further with all three in the game....although ideally Romney stepping down would be more than a celebration!

At any rate am staying the course with Newt all the way, am absolutely convinced he's the only man for the job....all others pale in comparison....and that's just the facts.

Unfortunately we have voters falling for social-lite Santorum, who won't do squat ...his plan sucks and he has no clout in Washington or history to show he can get congress on board.....we'll go further in debt while he addresses contraceptives, and the social issues dear to him...but don't pay the bills or steer the ship!
