Many people are looking to the many primary elections on March 6th -- "Super Tuesday" -- to clarify where this year's Republican nomination campaign is headed.

It may clarify far more than that, including the future of this nation and of Western civilization. If a clear winner with a commanding lead emerges, the question then becomes whether that candidate is someone who is likely to defeat Barack Obama.

If not, then the fate of America -- and of Western nations, including Israel -- will be left in the hands of a man with a lifelong hostility to Western values and Western interests

Dr Sowell is a bright ray of sunshine in a mire of darkness in the journalistic world today. His insight and down to earth, simple, common sense analysis is refreshing. Not that he's the only one who has that capability, but, in every one of his article I read, I feel comfortable that someone in his position can speak to the little man. In my opinion the same trait as Newt. Newt is our only hope to get back on track. I guess I don't have to say I'm in Newt's corner. I have been since the early 70's when he first showed up on the scene. He made an impact and has done great things. He is worth spending time researching his accomplishments. Amen.
