Men in North Korea are required to go to work at shutdown factories, they stamp a card showing they attended work and are then sent out to find a way to earn money to give to the factory.

Some job, scrounging out money from a dirt poor prison camp like NK which you then owe to the state-owned factory.

Even factories that aren’t shuttered only have electricity for 2 or 3 hours a day.

“they stamp a card showing they attended work and are then sent out to find a way to earn money to give to the factory.”

Sounds like unemployment insurance in America..
