I wondered if she was launching a political career and using Rush’s comment (or, for that matter, any conservative’s comments on her lifestyle) as a publicity springboard.

Her ‘indignation’ is a ruse. As a 30-year old woman who should be financially responsible for herself at this time in her life, I’m sure she is completely aware that literal handfuls of free contraception are readily available at community free clinics as well as at “over 800 offices” of Planned Parenthood. Yet she insists that her college, which she should have been long graduated from, provide contraceptive means on a silver platter, instead of having to take a bus ride for a freebie? Is this the ‘new’ way to launch a political career or what? Will she be insisting the college provide her a husband next?

If she is so smart, and simply loves to love, there is a very easy remedy for her plight.

She can just have a donation jar by the bedside, for -ahem- contraception costs and the like.

Nothing fancy or spendy you understand, just for the covering of ongoing costs and such.
