2. Mailman meets Obama near Ayer's parents' home in the 1980s: The sheriff, as I understand it,said during the press conference that he has found a former Illinois mailman who says that he accidentally ran into and talked briefly to a very young looking Obama as Obama was walking towards Ayers' parents' home in Chicago in the 1980s.
(To me, this sheriff announcement about the Illinois mailman is an important but overlooked piece of information that the sheriff presented at the news conference.)
3. The mailman has told the sheriff that Ayers' mother told him that Obama was a foreign student, or something like that.
4. If the mailman is telling the truth---he says that he was the regular mailman on the route and knew Ayers' parents' residence well---then it contradicts Obama's 2008 campaign statement that he first met Ayers in the middle 1990s and that Ayers was just a person who happened to live in the neighborhood.
I’m not sure if the mailman that from a couple years ago, is the same person that they interviewed. They called him a retired government employee and also stated that this incident occurred around 1980/81.
the other incident was after the mid ‘80s.

The IRS is working to rectify this as we speak.
Might not be wise to assume the mailman and the person referred to by the sheriff is the same person. The mailman spoke to zero, he said nothing about being introduced to him by anyone.
