Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) set the stage for a tense vote the Senate will hold on Sen. Roy Blunt’s (R-Mo.) contraception amendment Thursday morning, claiming it was yet another instance of the Senate being hijacked by the far right.

“Today the Senate will vote on a extreme ideological amendment to the transportation bill,” said Reid. “[T]his amendment has no place on a transportation bill.”

I’ve never in my life heard of laws that apply to only some of the people. Laws are absolute and apply to all. How come there are exemptions all over the place with Obamacare?

I find it hard to believe that I agree with Dingy Harry on this, but I do. He's right. It has no place in a transportation bill. This should be all by itself, called the Religious Freedom Protection Act.

Laws don't mean anything to the Obama regime, his handlers, and their puppet masters. Laws are strictly used to keep the rabble in line.

It's almost as if they used Atlas Shrugged as their "How to rule a country" handbook. Somehow they missed the fact that it was a scathing indictment of the sort of government they're trying to institute: They seem to be using it as a guide.
