It is obvious that he waited until school hours so that he could use this as an excuse for getting out of class. I think a week of detention should be in order here. Possibly wait to take the bullet out until after the detention. That should teach him.

What a strange article. Am sure the real story has been twisted out of recognition by some idiot journalist trying to get it to fit his world-view.

Why does one go to an elementary school for medical care? Are school nurses trained to treat gun-shot wounds? Why wait? Can I assume the wound was so superficial, the youngster probably thought it wasn’t even worth mentioning?
