Bank of America announced in 2008 a one trillion dollar, 10-year, affordable housing program aimed at minority individuals and families across the country.
A few years ago Bank of America funded and built a very large Section 8 gated apartment community near our subdivision. This project has resulted in vandalism, constant massive littering along streets and roads surrounding the apartment community, and a lowering of property values in the neighborhoods immediately abutting the complex. What that bank has done to white and mixed communities across the country in the name of "affordable housing" for minorities is absolutely despicable. This is the same bank that is deeply involved in cross-border cash transactions to Mexico, where it has programs in place which permit illegal aliens working under the table in the U.S. to inject non-taxed income earned in the U.S. directly into the Mexican economy.
