George LeMieux pointed to a laundry list of policy differences between himself and Congressman Connie Mack, his most formidable opponent in the U.S. Senate race, even questioning Macks fitness to run for office, in a conference call Friday. Macks record of misconduct recently documented by the Miami Herald was only part of the conversation with reporters, LeMieux also scheduled the call to remind the press of Macks history and voting record.

Who is the better conservative choice in that primary?
I’d say LeMieux hands down. I didn’t know half of that stuff about Mack and after a few Googles, it appears that they are true. WOW! This guy has nerve to be running at all. These guys have no shame!
Most of that stuff has been out there for years. He won on his name, not his qualifications. Sad but true.
I sat next to two nice older ladies at the CPAC-FL Senatorial debates. Mack wasn’t yet in at that time. But they lived in Mack’s district and hated the man for divorcing his wife and marrying Congresswoman Bono.
Personally, I see something good about ALL the Senatorial candidates. They’re all better than Nelson, hands down.
