Newt Gingrich has either been savaged or ignored, and still he is within ten of O in this poll.

If, and that is a sad if, given what has happened to him, those who do not want Mitt were to be strongly for Newt Gingrich, he would be right up there where the others are, or better.

Reagan trailed Carter, too.

At the end it wasn’t close.

I support Newt and will not change because somebody tried to force me to support Santorum because he’s not Romney.

Me too!!! Next to gaffe-prone Romney, there’s Santorum. He steps in it just like Romney. And he supported Romney in 2008. Santorum; no thanks!
