the Party will not stand for a Mitt Romney loss in Michigan, and that he expects a result like that to lead the Senator to “publicly call for the party to find a new candidate,” likely former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

So GOP primary voters turn down Romney because he's not a conservative and the GOP's plan to address their concerns involves trotting out yet another Bush - this one the least conservative of all?

I have trouble believing that even the GOP leadership could be this out of touch or this crazy.

It's not out or crazy, it's arrogance. They and their allies at Fox News and Drudge believe that we will bend over and support whoever they crown. And there is some truth to that - they've thrown plenty of liberals at us and we pull the lever for them simply because they have an (R) next to their name.

I don't think it'll work this time though. Too many of us are done voting for liberals just because they have an (R) next to their name. The GOP leadership and their allies at Fox and Drudge are playing chicken with us, and they are going to lose.

That last sentence is a joke, right ? So far you think that the GOP establishment has been showing what kind of judgement ?

They aren't. They will try to draft Chris Christie. And he just might accept if they do.
