This is a church service from, I believe, earlier today. As I write this, Gingrich has not spoken yet, and the congregation (plus Newt)is listening to the choir.

Cool, the pastor is taking an indirect shot at Mitt, and stressing that Gingrich has not “wavered” on abortion. Now he’s speaking in favor of Gingrich’s policy on Israel. And the praise goes on, to audience applause...
He makes the other 3 in the race look like the bumbling fools they are.
I didn’t know your could scream Newt! Newt! Newt! in a church :-)
Too bad that Gingrich can’t get any traction as he’s the most qualified man in the country to be President.

We have GOT to help him get traction. Major Garrett (formerly on Fox News) was having a Q & A last night on twitter. He was asked what the outcome would be if Mitt was the nominee against Obama. His answer was Obama by at least 9%. It literally gave me chillbumps.
I personally think the bottom of Obama/Bernanke’s financial fumbles will crumble in late Summer and we will fare better than Major thinks, but, I am terrified.

Have you seen his Uncommon Knowledge interview? Though he is not Reagan by any stretch, he did remind me of the fatherly figure type that we need to get us out of the Obama abyss, much as Reagan did with the Carter abyss.

It was not to long ago when Rick Santorum was being criticized for doing the very same thing that Newt Gingrich is doing here, speaking in front of church... so why is it ok for Newt to speak in front of a church, and it is not ok for Rick to do the same thing ?
It amazes me how he can be in Calif, one day then Ga.the next and who knows where tomorrow, with 2 or 3 other stops in between, and still be fresh and coherent. But then, he does not have to study a speech, it just comes natural. Go Newt, and I pray people will wake up SOON.
The constitution says you have a right to pursuit of happiness not a guarantee right to be happy. A government setting up a system to take away from the overly happy to redistribute to the unhappily and can pick and choose those who should get the wealth from the over-happily is not a free society, it is a dictatorship. Newt said this much better than I.
